Tararua College Parents' Association - Ngā Mātua o Tama Tū Tama Ora

Tararua College has a newly activated, very active Parents' Association that consists of a group of people who are passionate about the College and want to help contribute towards making the environment interesting and engaging for the students, teachers and community members.

Currently there is a small but passionate group of parents on the committee. Meetings also have a College representative Kami Flitten and a Board of Trustee member Andrew Wylie present.  The input and advice from these people is invaluable to the Committee in the decision making process.

Fundraising activities held in  2017 were: The Mud Run, catering and our inaugural Calf Rearing Scheme.

The Parents' Association would welcome new members for the committee.   We meet once a month, and the dates are advertised on our Facebook page. If interested in helping in any way, please initially contact Mrs Kami Flitten at college. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

The 2nd annual TC Mud Run is nearly upon us and the Tararua College Parents' Association are working hard to ensure another fantastic event. This year’s mud run will take place on Sunday the 27th of May and will include the great obstacles from last year as well as some new exciting ones. The event is family friendly and a fun, affordable day out.

The Parents' Association supports the college by fundraising for some of the ‘extras’ that help the staff to provide quality education for the students. This year their focus is on raising funds towards solar heating for the swimming pool.

So, get your group together, support our school and come and get muddy!
